Transfer Week

So tomorrow we have transfers and I'm leaving Forestdale and Burton. It's pretty sad because the wards were sooo full of absolutely hilarious Latinos. We helped some people move on Saturday and they move so fast to get things done. It's there only day off from work so they were like throwing stuff out of the house and off the balcony while me and elder baker were catching it and throwing it in the truck. They fit an entire couch into an elevator so they didn't have to take it up to the stairs, hehe. I'm gonna mis this place. The bishop and ward leaders are so involved and love to work with us to help move the work forward.


Adrian and David are moving so fast and have a strong testimony about the word of wisdom and read the book of Mormon together. There really smart people and David likes to analyze parts in the book of Mormon. One thing that I've learned and seen is that the power of the book of Mormon and the spirit behind it is what changes lives. If we have a testimony of the book of Mormon than there should be no doubts about the truthfullness of the restored gospel.


Sunday we had a lesson with the Columbian girls and they made us this fruit salad and I'm just gonna say that I can wait to go to Columbia now. I don't like fruit salad at all in the first place but that was just weird. My comp flat out told them he didn't like. I wish I did that because I ate it all and said it was good so they gave me more to eat. Paola is awesome, she makes every lesson with her so funny. She made so many jokes when we were talking about the law of chastity. It's pretty fun.


I move tomorrow but I don't know where I'll move to yet. I'm just excited to see where I go next. Transfer day is always crazy tho. 


That's basically it for me. The book of Mormon is a pretty good book and it contains the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pretty neat eh?

HOME MTC

hola mi amigos spanish is going surprisingly well. My teachers are speaking faster and faster and it's a little hard for me to keep up but I'm definitely doing a lot better than I was at the beginning of this week. I can't have a normal conversation with someone but i can give a pretty decent lesson (i think) and answer half of the questions they ask. This week me and my comp Elder Burke were in the middle of a companionship study on zoom when some random guy shows up on the call. we weren't told that we were gonna teach a lesson so we didn't really know who this guy was. it was really sketchy because all the lights were out and his face was all shadowy so we thought he was just gonna drop his pants and moon us. hehe. so we just started to teach him. He was very receptive to the gospel. that was sarcasm btw. he was on his phone the whole time. we asked if he believed in god or christ and he said yes but when we asked him to explain to us what he knew h...
