We Taught Lots Of Lessons

Happy new years!!

 

 

Hello everyone

 

 

This week was pretty good. We had lessons and we taught the gospel. I should probably go in more detail tho.

 

 

We have two brothers who are investigating the church and lessons with them are some of my favorite moments on my mission so far. There just so full of the spirit and we can feel the love that God has for these two Young men. It's pretty cool,god love to ves each one of us so much and it amazes me how he gives us each time to listen and talk to him each day.

 

 

We spent new years eve with a couple of Colombian single moms with weird boyfriends. There very flirty as you can probably see by the picture. They gave us Christmas sweaters last week and Paola, the girl on the right is going to get baptized in a bit. Her sister is the recent convert and she gave us cupcakes. They are very nice ladies.

 

 

We also talked to a really funny old lady named sandy. She had grandchildren on their mission and was implying that we were going to Hell for being missionaries. She was eating popcorn like a monkey and yelling at her husband and dog the whole time. It was fun.

 

 

My Spanish is getting pretty ok, I can actually understand a good Chunk of normal conversation and most of the gospel stuff. And I'm doing allot more than just bearing my testimony now so I'm happy. Thank you all for your support and love while I'm hear.

 

 

Sharing the gospel and gathering Isreal is the most important work in the entire world. Blessing the lives of others and inviting them to hear the gospel is some of the greatest blessings of this life. The church is true!!

HOME MTC

hola mi amigos spanish is going surprisingly well. My teachers are speaking faster and faster and it's a little hard for me to keep up but I'm definitely doing a lot better than I was at the beginning of this week. I can't have a normal conversation with someone but i can give a pretty decent lesson (i think) and answer half of the questions they ask. This week me and my comp Elder Burke were in the middle of a companionship study on zoom when some random guy shows up on the call. we weren't told that we were gonna teach a lesson so we didn't really know who this guy was. it was really sketchy because all the lights were out and his face was all shadowy so we thought he was just gonna drop his pants and moon us. hehe. so we just started to teach him. He was very receptive to the gospel. that was sarcasm btw. he was on his phone the whole time. we asked if he believed in god or christ and he said yes but when we asked him to explain to us what he knew h...
