Another Week

This week was great. We got ryann and her dad to come to church for the first time in like 5 years. He always knew he needed to come to church but he just needed to remember that being a father meens he has the responsibility to make sure his family has christ at the center and make sure they can all benifits from the blessing of the gospel (which are Many). When christ is the center of your home then there is more peace and unity in the family. Having the chance to take the sacrament ever week is my favorite parts of Sunday. We get to be clean from all of our stupid mistakes that we had made throughout the week and start over again. We show God of our willingness to follow Him and in turn we can feel his spirit through our lives. Being without the spirit is soo hard and having the constant guidance in your life can and will help you and your family become closer to God. I sound kinda preachy but it's true. 


We gave alot of people priesthood blessings this week which was an amazing experience because I've never done them in English before but they could actually understand me this time. We had tons of member visits this weeks and we've got ton allot of references for people who need the light of christ more in their life so we've been pretty busy this last week. Tomorrow tho we have back to back to back lessons so we don't really know how we're gonna deal with this but we'll figure it out. We went down to Manila and McKinnon Wednesday and got to meet some members down there and see if they knew of anyone who could the gospel. They always come up with someone after we ask them to write their names down.


That's basicly it for this week, I don't wanna bore you guys with weird random details so that's it. Keep reading the book of Mormon!!

HOME MTC

hola mi amigos spanish is going surprisingly well. My teachers are speaking faster and faster and it's a little hard for me to keep up but I'm definitely doing a lot better than I was at the beginning of this week. I can't have a normal conversation with someone but i can give a pretty decent lesson (i think) and answer half of the questions they ask. This week me and my comp Elder Burke were in the middle of a companionship study on zoom when some random guy shows up on the call. we weren't told that we were gonna teach a lesson so we didn't really know who this guy was. it was really sketchy because all the lights were out and his face was all shadowy so we thought he was just gonna drop his pants and moon us. hehe. so we just started to teach him. He was very receptive to the gospel. that was sarcasm btw. he was on his phone the whole time. we asked if he believed in god or christ and he said yes but when we asked him to explain to us what he knew h...
