Hello Everyone Again!!

These past few weeks have been super busy and crazy!!

First off, last week the 10th we traveled to tunja and had the baptisms for shirley gallego and Maria gallego. They have a super strong testimony and they've been continually coming to church (online) and participating in the classes and activities. Which Is actually the most important part. When we are baptized that's not the end of our religious life, we need to keep moving forward and attend church, take the sacrament and continue to love those around us. This is the last and most important step to christ gospel, Continue to move forward with faith in what we KNOW to be true and know that god prepares a way to do what he wants us to do.

We're getting closer to having a family group here in chiquinquirá so we can call leaders and for sure they are both (Shirley and Maria) going to be the heart of the church here. Shirley is the nicest lady on the planet and when I was sick she was like a mom that would make me soup and weird aroma stuff that worked really well. She also bought me a bunch of toilet paper, hehe. Anyways, she's the best. She is our new food lady now so we get to meet with her and her family every day and they have a huge testimony about how awesome god is!!

We had the chance to talk to someone named yeferson delgadillo and he is so cool. and for the first time in my entire mission he told us he believed what we were teaching him. He studied the bible a lot and tried to do everything god wants him to do so he's super awesome and we're so excited to see where he goes. We also talked to Zaira who we had a really crazy coincidence with. When we introduced the book of mormon she said she already had one and we were really confused and she told us that when her husband left she was throwing all his stuff always and came across the book of mormon and was about to throw it away when she read that it was another testament of Jesus Christ and she decided to keep it and she didn't know why but she felt like she needed to keep it. and then we showed up:) pretty cool eh? We have another baptism coming up on July 3rd. And this girl is like really powerful. Her names Laura (she's in the picture with us) She's 14(not 13) and has had a lot of questions about religion and about which church is true ,(sound familiar) and when we started to teach her she started to be a little missionary to her whole family and now her entire family has watched the restoration video on youtube and is now reading the book of mormon because she told them how much she's learned. They have a lot of questions but the only problem is that they don't ask us the questions they ask Laura and she asked us. But we're making progress!! Her dad is taking lessons from us now and we're so excited to see what this family does.

We've got permission to look for a house or a meeting place so we can start our little family group here in chiquinquirá but there's like no places for rent here which is weird. Well there's places for rent but we need a two story place with a garage so we can live on top and have sacrament meetings in the garage but nobody here wants to get rid of their house with a garage so it's really hard. But we're still looking. I've also learned that missionaries can be called to be branch presidents which is really weird cause they were like 18-21 years old but whatever. If God said so...

I'm so excited to see where this little town city thing goes. But the sad thing is that I'm probably getting transferred but we don't know, but something our mission president told us makes us think that I'm getting kicked out which makes me really sad. But hopefully not cause I wanna stay here and help grow God's work in this small corner of Colombia.

There hasn't been a day here when I don't fall asleep studying. It's really annoying and I just can't get over it. Any advice?

I love you all, enjoy the pictures and stuff.

Baptisms

Laura a recent convert (there really good friends)
